Poppers Holding expands to Germany by takeover of Bühnen PFS
Poppers Holding B.V. in Lelystad has taken over the Power Fastening Systems activitities of the German Bühnen GmbH & Co as per 1 February 2006. Through this takeover, Poppers has entered the German market for industrial fastening systems. The PFS division will continue as Poppers Senco Deutschland GmbH. Poppers strengthens her European growth ambitions taking over this company. Poppers already has companies in the Netherlands, Germany, England, Ireland and Belgium. Poppers has been a major player in the market for industrial fastening systems for over 90 years. Poppers Senco in the Netherlands, England and Ireland primarily focus on the sale and maintenance of nail, staple and screw systems and the sale of fastening systems. Poppers Technofast sells ceiling, roof and façade systems. In part through company takeovers, Poppers has seen a strong growth and product expansion in recent years. Poppers Wallebroek sells furniture and construction fittings, and Poppers Zimit specializes in the sale of metal products. The latest addition to the Poppers Group, TyTecker, introduces a revolutionairy rebar tying system that offers great ergonomical advantages.
